Mattia (he/him) is a London-based Italian creative director, producer, stylist, and artist fusing cross-disciplinary experiences across fashion, art, and design. His work, from editorial shoots to large-scale events and sculptural artworks, is fuelled by a queer approach and multicultural lens with studying and working experiences in the UK, the Netherlands, and Italy. Specialising in translating bold concepts into immersive experiences that connect with audiences, his creative essence remains fuelled by intimate narratives demanding fragility.

A pair of sculptural genderless shoes created as a manifesto against rising anti-LGBTQ+ sentiment felt globally. Crafted to embody experiences of gender and queerness lived daily by the queer community. Designed in collaboration with artist Luca Bosani, the shoes symbolise resistance through mutation and vulnerability for queer survival.

An exploration of personal expression and identity through experiences of alienation in modern cities. Built around shared feelings of social imprisonment caused by contemporary homogenisation and de-humanisation of lived realities in a capitalistic environment. Developed looks to reflect themes of reappropriation and negotiation of self-expression under oppressive power structures.
